Founded in 1986, Bright Horizons Family Solutions is the dependant care partner of choice for the world’s leading companies. We operate in UK, Ireland, USA and Canada, managing more than 100 child care centres in the UK and Ireland and more than 600 world-wide.

Our child care centres in the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada, make Bright Horizons the leader in the global marketplace for child care and family-friendly workplace benefits. Our clients include blue-chip companies, global sector leaders and government departments, who consistently report high levels of satisfaction with our partnership. Our services respond to the diverse needs of our clients, from consulting regarding dependant care needs and feasibilities through to direct provision such as workplace nurseries and customised child care programmes.

Our company mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and families and in the communities where we live and work. As part of that mission, we created the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children in 1999 to help achieve our mission of making a difference to the lives of children and families in the communities where we live and work, beyond the normal reach of the company’s child care centres. The Foundation in Europe was launched in August 2005, with a particular focus to help children and families in repeat cycles of temporary and inadequate accommodation.
