Reaching Beyond Our Borders Bright Horizons Teams with Mercy Corps to Aid Disaster Victims in China and Myanmar

Bright Horizons has teamed up with our international relief partner, Mercy Corps, to aid victims of two of the world’s most devastating natural disasters to strike Asia. As many as 1.9 million people in Myanmar/Burma are desperate to survive since a cyclone hit last week. In China, thousands are grieving the loss of entire families and villages since a powerful earthquake struck. In both nations, families are struggling to find adequate shelter, food and medical care, and children are especially at risk. Linda Mason, Chairman and Founder of Bright Horizons and the Chairman of Mercy Corps Board of Directors has brought our two organizations together to make a difference in the face of disaster. Mercy Corps is one of the first humanitarian organizations to receive permission to serve victims in Myanmar/Burma and is on the ground there and in China providing aid to children and families in need. Bright Horizons Named One of the 50 Best Workplaces in Ireland

Bright Horizons was named recently one of the "50 Best Workplaces in Ireland"www.greatplacetowork.ie. In addition, Bright Horizons received a special category award in recognition of our internal communications systems. The criterion for this award is based on having outstanding best practices coupled with how employees in Ireland rated Bright Horizons in this area.
